Competitive team:
Tickets are being given to dancers on Saturday May 12 th and Monday May 14th.

Please sell 12 tickets to qualify for fundraising credit. NOTE: ALL tickets sold or unsold must be returned to the ticket booth at the recital or given to Mary-Lynn Adair (mradair@sympatico.ca - 613 488-3497) with sale proceeds prior to June 3rd.

Once again, this year our recital is being video taped by DRC Video Productions. In an effort to be more environmentally friendly DRC has provided a link for parents and dancers to order online, please check your email with the subject “Extrava Danse Video” for the link.

If you prefer to submit a hard copy with your payment please print off and fill in the order form below and submit it either to the Boutique or at the Extrava Danse ticket table during rehearsals or recitals. Order Form

Recital

Information and schedules for the year end rehearsals, recital and summer programs can be found in the:

PLEASE NOTE: There have been changes to the recital information.

Rehearsals:

  • Sunday May 27, 9 am – 6 pm
  • Friday June 1st, from 5 – 9 pm

Recital Performances:

  • Saturday June 2nd, 1:30 to 4:30 pm – Act 1 and Act 2
  • Saturday June 2nd, 6 to 9 pm – Act 2 & an encore presentation of competitive solos / duo / trios.
  • Sunday June 3rd, 1:30 to 4:30 pm – Act 1 and Act 2

Note:  Many of the young dancers, particularly those with 1 class per week, will perform only in the 2 afternoon shows.

We invite all of our younger dancers, who are not part of the 2nd Act, or of the encore performance, to join their parent/guardian in the audience for the second part of the show. Dancers remaining to watch do NOT need to  purchase a ticket. For the beginner-level student, the opportunity to watch the  more experienced dancers can be a very motivating, and exciting experience.

For safety purposes – flash photography is not permitted as it can distract dancers. DRC video productions will be taping our recital. Please see the ticket table for video order forms.

Day Camps:

Please register for camp as soon as possible at the studio Boutique. Post date cheques for June 27th. Boutique hours.

  • Hours - 9am to 4pm.
  • Cost - $182.00 (+HST)
    Registration for 2 weeks or additional family members (10% discount).
  • Before or after care available for an additional $15.00 per day.

Evening Programs:
June: 25 – 28
July : 9 - 12 (an additional week may be added).
August 20 – 23 and August 27 – 30

Photo Schedule

Reschedule of Photos:
Group and Individual Photos for the Card Dealers and Taxis will be held on Sunday, May 27 during the recital practice at Optimiste Hall.

  • Card Dealers:  Group picture at 1:30 on the stage,  individual Card Dealers pictures will be done directly afterwards in the cafeteria.
  • Taxi Cabs: Those who want individual pictures please arrive at 2:30 in full costume in the cafeteria,  the Taxi Cab group picture on stage just before the Act 1 Finale at about 3:15.
